Claire is the STEM Initiatives Program Director at the Long Island Children’s Museum in Garden City, New York.
In her role, she develops science workshops and afterschool programs, co-runs a district wide science initiative, mentors a group of teenage volunteers, writes grants, and contributes to new exhibits. Claire wants to inspire curiosity in her students and believes there is a lot to see, to wonder about, and to notice in the world around us.
In her free time, Claire loves spending time outside exploring the Catskill high peaks, slowing down to notice how the trees change with the seasons, and asking as many questions as she can.
